As the cast of “Rex’s Exes” took their final curtain call, one person from the audience rushed to the stage. Sandy Brandenstein was presented with the Best Supporting Actress award by Suzy Shearing, who had accepted it in her behalf at the Harbor Playhouse Community Theater in Corpus Christi .
The Harbor Playhouse had presented awards the evening of May 13 while “Rex’s Exes” cast and crew entertained the audience in the Rialto Theater in Aransas Pass. The evening ended with a standing ovation for Brandenstein by the audience.
