Shrimporee means food, fun and time with family and friends.
Spearheaded by the Aransas Pass Chamber of Commerce, this event brings together a community to celebrate its heritage of shrimping.
It takes two stages for the entertainment planned for 2017. Check out Friday’s line-up.
H-E-B Stage
Tracy Lawrence will headline the Shrimporee Friday night country music entertainment on the H-E-B Stage at 10 p.m. Lawrence was nominated as the National On-Air Personality of the Year by the Academy of Country Music Radio Awards in February 2017.

The evening on the H-E-B stage begins at 6 p.m. with the James Little Band which performs locally in area venues such as the Wild Horse Saloon in Port Aransas, the Chalet Sports Bar and Grill in Ingleside and Corpus Christi’s South Texas Ice House. Another local band, Reverend’s Daughter, will take the stage at 8 p.m. Founded by Derrick Dwayne, lead vocalist, the band has opened for Bart Crow, Kevin Fowler and Pat Green and were selected to play at South by Southwest in 2016. Visit http://www.reverendsdaughter.com
The Pacific Islanders are part of many festivals and they can be seen on both the H-E-B Stage and the Allen Samuels Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM Stage. Allen Samuels Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM Stage
Local visitors will be anxious to see Mr. and Mrs. Shrimporee on this stage at 6 p.m. followed by the country/Texas rock sounds from Ray T and The City Crew beginning at 7 p.m.
